Nature Trip: The Taman Orkid Kuala Lumpur

13:15 15/1/2012  After a quick lunch at KL Sentral we skip the usual church-mall-house  Sunday routine and decided for a nature trip within the city. First thing pops to our mind was The KL Orchid Garden since it is convenient and near to KL Sentral.

Getting here: By Taxi around 10-15 Mins from KL Sentral ; Fare should be less than 10RM
By LRT alight at Pasar Seni Station and walk for about 15 to 20 minutes

Entrance Fee: Admission is free during weekdays and 1RM during weekends. Opens 9AM till 6PM

The Taman Bunga Orkid Kuala Lumpur was established on 15th April 1986

The whole area is approximately one hectare and displays wide array of Orchids Collection. Definitely a haven for orchid lovers and flower photography enthusiast.

This is my favorite spot in the Garden.

I have been consume for too many subjects to capture and didn’t notice it has been past two hours after I left Summer in the bench. She is still waiting for me like a high school teenager waiting to be elope with his boy friend. I was about to stole her a shot but she made a quick glance in my view and notice me and spoiled the “Stolen Shot”.

Summer’s Interaction

I  met a German couple who sits near my bench.  They were so friendly and cheerful.  Even though  we knew each other like few minutes but seems like we have been close friends  for many years. They even shared their personal life and reasons about their passion in travelling.  I learn a lot from their experience and will apply it to our own adventure. I am  very glad that I meet them  because it more  intensify our guts to go outside the four corners and hit the road.

15:15 We pack our things quickly as humid rises and can no longer take the scorching heat of  afternoon sun. We had relax, enjoy and breathe some fresh air before leaving the garden.  Overall it was fun, able to take some good photos and we promise ourselves  to come back and visit the other garden, yeah the Hibiscus one.

Please look what we’ve got. Hope you like it  ðŸ™‚
