Which part of Philippines have you gone? This is the follow-up question I throw whenever my foreign friends told me they visited the Philippines. Cebu topped the list followed by Boracay and Palawan. It’s been renowned worldwide Cebu as a key destination in the country. Evidently, the tourism industry is so much alive is this island province where resort hotels and budget accommodation sprouting not just in the metro but to the key cities as well. Searching for a place to stay in Cebu is relatively easy as there are many options to choose from. During our last visit, we spend two nights at Alba Uno Hotel.

Alba Uno Hotel is located in a quite neighborhood of Brgy. Apas in Cebu City. It is 30 minutes away from the airport, and 10-20 minutes away to the shopping and business districts. IT Park is also short walking distance from here where a plethora of restaurants is accessible. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel is its prime location.
Check In
We initially stayed in another hotel close to Alba Uno for overnight and switch over. The receptionists of Alba Uno hotel are kind enough to allow us for an early Check-in without an extra charge. But unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready yet for occupation. Instead, they offered us a terrace room view at no charge. How is that?

Our Room
Supposedly, we should be staying in a regular Standard room but because of the generous offer by Alba Uno staffs. We will be staying with their standard terrace view. The room is very capacious compare it to other budget hotel accommodations we stayed. The marriage of colors in wood and earth shades in the rooms creates a homey feeling.
As expected the bed is comfortable to sleep paired with a fresh laundry neutral scent bedsheets and extra square pillows. The needed two nights of baby sleep rest was guaranteed by Alba Uno.
